Martín Huberman

Martín Huberman is an architect, designer and curator based in Buenos Aires. A graduate of the University of Buenos Aires, in 2008 he founded Estudio Normal, an experimental architecture and design practice whose objects and installations have been exhibited internationally — from the Kunstmuseum in Bern to Matadero in Madrid and Museo MAR in Argentina. He also directs Monoambiente, the first gallery in South America devoted to experimental architecture and design.

His work with El Espartano began on the sports side of the company, designing synthetic grass surfaces for functional training areas in clubs and gyms. From that collaboration came Pastillas — a collection of four graphic mats that carries the visual language of sport into architecture and interior design, presented at Atelier Normal in Buenos Aires in 2026.
