Pastillas

On August 8, 2026, El Espartano presented Pastillas, a new collection of synthetic grass mats created with architect Martín Huberman. The gathering took place at Atelier Normal in Buenos Aires — Huberman's own studio space — around a proposal that explores new ways of bringing this material into architecture and interior design.

The collection has its origin in a series of surfaces developed by El Espartano's sports division together with Huberman for functional training areas in clubs and gyms. From that work came the idea of taking its graphic language to a new scale and carrying it into other environments.

Thus were born Robot, Constelaciones, Carriles and Versus — four designs that keep the identity of the original project and transform synthetic grass into mats conceived for indoor and outdoor spaces such as terraces, balconies, playrooms and verandas. Pastillas also shows what the company's technology makes possible: designing and producing custom synthetic grass surfaces, expanding its applications far beyond sport.
