The Secret Life rug belongs to the “Garden” collection, showcased during Milan Design Week 2024 at the prestigious Rossana Orlandi gallery.
Designed under the curatorship of renowned trend forecaster Lidewij Edelkoort and based on the sketches of Brazilian artist Sergio Machado, this nature-inspired unique piece captures the essence of arts and handicrafts such as watercolors and collage.
Woven using 100% wool yarns, with a combination of cut pile and loop textures. The irregular shapes of the complete collection accentuate a playful spirit and preserve the organic style, free lines and spontaneity of the artist in the creative process.
“As nature is part of culture, reinforcing us since the beginning of creative expression, we decided to create a timeless garden inspired reminiscent of childhood, with the naïveté of wildly drawn blooms, cut out leaves, collaged botanicals, and a flowerbed”, says Edelkoort about the collection.

Vacuum regularly without a brush head, blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth, and rotate the rug periodically for even wear. Professional cleaning is recommended. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and flame-retardant.
