The "Sólido" collection is woven using carefully selected natural pure virgin wool fibers. It is created using the hand tufting technique, which produces a cut pile texture that provides a soft, comfortable surface.
Available in natural earth tones, terracottas and cement greys, the designs are reminiscent of how the creator of the line, the architect Gustavo Penna, plays with volumes and geometries in his other works. The lines give shape to the void beyond them while, at the same time, making it concrete and tangible. The artist brings together solidness and invention into a single piece.
Gustavo Penna is a Brazilian architect and the founder of his own studio, GPA&A. He is a member of the Oscar Niemeyer Foundation Trust and the Dom Cabral Foundation. Penna has won awards for many of his works, which have been shown both in Brazil and throughout the world.
