Intertwined Concepts II belongs to a series of original textile artworks created by Marta Minujín in collaboration with El Espartano Editor. Blending tradition and innovation, the collection is the result of a fusion between Minujín’s contemporary energy and El Espartano’s technical expertise.

The series draws inspiration from the artist’s homonymous work, produced between 2019 and 2022: a large-scale, fluorescent, multicolored soft sculpture that reintroduces the use of mattresses as an expressive medium—an idea Minujín has explored since the 1960s.

The collection comprises five hand-tufted pieces, crafted with exceptional precision using pure wool yarns in 11 fluorescent colors, reflecting the artist’s distinctive palette. As a publishing house, El Espartano meticulously translates artistic vision into visual and tactile reality, honoring the original creation through carefully curated textures and hues.

Each piece is an original multiple work, signed by the artist and numbered. El Espartano Editor guarantees its authenticity, along with Marta Minujín’s signature and edition number.
