Animals master their lives with dignity, seducing to procreate, provoking to provide safety, and roaming to forage fresh foods. Their instinct is our instinct, as this is one character trait we have in common. Yet humans have lost the ability for using this instrument, leaving little room to protect us, to heal us and to alarm us whenever danger is near. Time has come to embrace that inner voice that defines our most primitive instincts, rooted in an animistic sense of inclusion.

The intuitive art of mirocomachiko reverberates with animal instincts. Her aloof elephant, vigilant chimpanzee, haughty cat and skittish onyx vibrate with vitality through her drawings. Snakes slither, penguins shuffle and ducks seem to float. Her animal kingdom is both ecstatic and captured in movement — instinctive lifeforces that are captivated in wool fibres by El Espartano. Wild rugs that reflect the inherent rules of design to abandon the self into creativity.
